In this sense, my main objective was to address the importance of the affective relationship and to understand how this relationship can contribute in the teaching and learning process, considering the theories of some researchers who contribute a lot in this process as Henri Wallon, Lev Vygotsky, Paulo Freire, Celson Antunes, Augusto Trivinos, Eugênio Cunha, among others. In order to carry out our research, we have a qualitative research, through a semistructured interview with two teachers from the infant education segment in the age group of four and five years who are part of the aforementioned CMEI Benedito Rufino in Castanhal. The analysis and discussion of the data constructed during my research showed that such reflections contribute significantly to these professionals turning their eyes to the student, leaving a little aside the rush to want to develop the content for the accomplishment of goals and statistics and to observe education as something broader where human relations are built, where educators and educators have the opportunity to relate with a look or with a hug or gesture of affection. In view of the above, it is evident that affectivity contributes effectively to affective, social and not just cognitive development as fundamental elements in the development of the child as a whole. A presente pesquisa tem como tema central Afetividade e Suas Implicações no Processo de Ensino e de Aprendizagem em um Centro de Educação Infantil no Município de Castanhal (Pá): uma análise a partir dos discursos docentes. Nesse sentido, a minha pesquisa teve como objetivo principal abordar a importância da relação afetiva e entender como essa relação pode contribuir no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, considerando as teorias de alguns pesquisadores que muito contribuem nesse processo como Henri Wallon, Lev Vygotsky, Paulo Freire, Celson Antunes, Augusto Trivinos, Eugênio Cunha, entre outros. Para realizar nossa investigação, dispomos da pesquisa qualitativa, através de entrevista semiestruturada com duas professoras do segmento da educação infantil na faixa etária de quatro e cinco anos que fazem parte do referido CMEI Benedito Rufino em Castanhal. A análise e discussão dos dados construídos ao longo de minha pesquisa mostraram que tais reflexões contribuem significativamente para que esses profissionais voltem o seu olhar para o educando, deixando um pouco de lado a pressa em querer desenvolver os conteúdos para o cumprimento de metas e estatísticas e passem a observar a educação como algo mais amplo onde se constrói as relações humanas, onde educador e educando tem a oportunidade de se relacionarem quer seja com um olhar, quer seja com um abraço ou gesto de carinho.
