The same was developed by bibliographic and field research, through the daily experience with the students as a reading room teacher, in the application of significant activities in this learning process, allowing the analysis and reflection on the real purpose of the reading room in the formation of individual and seeking to re-signify this space giving meaning to the true act of teaching. Este trabalho trata da importância da sala de leitura como espaço de letramento nos anos iniciais, objetivando compreender os processos de aquisição da leitura e construção de conhecimento, a partir das práticas de leitura e o desenvolvimento do indivíduo leitor, por meio do uso dos gêneros literários. O mesmo foi desenvolvido por pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, através da vivência diária com os alunos enquanto professora de sala de leitura, na aplicação de atividades significativas neste processo de aprendizagem, permitindo a análise e reflexão sobre o real objetivo da sala de leitura na formação de indivíduo e buscando (re-)significar este espaço dando sentido ao verdadeiro ato de ensinar. 2019-11-12T14:35:42Z 2019-11-12T14:35:42Z 2019-02-20 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SANTOS, Maria do Socorro dos Santos e.
