And as specific objectives: a) To understand from the bibliographic studies factors contribute to the difficulties of appropriation of reading and writing in the initial years of Elementary School; b) identify the strategies that may hinder the teaching of reading and writing in the initial years according to the bibliography studied; c) to reflect on the factors that contribute to the difficulty of reading and writing learning of elementary school students, based on the bibliography studied. A qualitative bibliographical research was developed. The results make evident the essential knowledge for the transformation of the pedagogical work, as well as the importance of the teacher to know them. Este trabalho de conclusão do Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Pará - Plano de Ações Articuladas Formação de Professores da Educação Básica- PARFOR, tem como título Leitura e Escrita: breve reflexão sobre conhecimentos necessários ao trabalho pedagógico de uma professora propôs como objetivo geral: refletir sobre os que conhecimentos são necessários o professor saber para que desenvolva o processo a alfabetização e o letramento de suas crianças. E como objetivos específicos: a) compreender a partir dos estudos bibliográficos fatores contribuem para as dificuldades de apropriação da leitura e da escrita nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental; b) identificar as estratégias que podem dificultar o ensino da leitura e escrita nos anos iniciais segundo a bibliografia estudada; c) refletir sobre os fatores que contribuem para a dificuldade de aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita de alunos do ensino fundamental, a partir da bibliografia estudada. Desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa.
