The accompaniment and the control of the urban expansion depends on the adequate geological-geomorphological bases; thus, the main goal of the research was to interpret the forms of the relief and to produce a geomorphological map, tentatively in the 1:30.000 scale, featuring the existing Groups and Reliefs Systems. The identified problems in the area from Benfica district, Murinin and Marituba was the expansion of the population in allotments or invasions, occupying the areas of “lower areas” near to “rivers” and “streams”. In these places there is risk of siltation and floods, as well as the degradation of the resource base with the exploration of clay by the potteries. In this work there is also a modern and innovative attempt, in which tries to integrate the discussion of geological-geomorphological imprint to the legal environmental normativity, to know, the Principle of Precaution. In this way, this project intends, with an approach applied from the Geology, to answer the necessities of the Environmental Law, aiming the supply to the legal and geological communities with transdisciplinary products that constitute subsidies to make more objective the defense of the environment and also the hermeneutic related to the application in concrete cases, in a context, as it were, of “Geolaw. Situada a nordeste da capital Belém, a região do Distrito de Benfica, Município de Benevides, vem passando por pressão ambiental, dada pela ocupação urbana que incide, em particular, sobre a área de transição entre o sistema geomorfológico colinoso, a sul e sudeste, e o sistema de planícies de inundação. O acompanhamento e controle da expansão urbana dependem de bases geológico-geomorfológicas adequadas; assim, o objetivo central da pesquisa foi interpretar as formas de relevo e produzir um mapa geomorfológico, tentativamente na escala 1:30.000, caracterizando os Grupamentos e Sistemas de Relevo existentes, de acordo com a metodologia proposta por Ponçano et al. (1979). Os problemas identificados na área do Distrito de Benfica, Murinin e no Município de Marituba foram a expansão da população, em loteamentos ou invasões, ocupando as áreas de “baixadas” próximas a “rios” e “igarapés”. Nestes locais há risco de assoreamento e inundações, bem como a degradação da base de recursos, pela exploração de argilas por olarias. Neste trabalho houve também, uma abordagem moderna e inovadora, na qual se tenta integrar a discussão de cunho geológico- geomorfológico à normatividade jurídico-ambiental, a saber, o Princípio da Precaução. Deste modo, este projeto pretende, através de uma abordagem aplicada da Geologia, atender às necessidades do Direito Ambiental, visando o fornecimento às comunidades Geológica e Jurídica, produtos transdisciplinares que constituam subsídios, para tornar mais objetiva a defesa do meio ambiente, a hermenêutica relacionada a aplicação nos casos concretos, em um contexto, por assim dizer, de “Geodireito. 2020-01-09T17:34:41Z 2020-01-09T17:34:41Z 2013-09-17 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação VAZ, Thamires Guizzardi.
