This article focuses on the teaching of music and its relationship with the
education. We are talking from the historical and legal perspective, such as the
teaching of music was being inserted in the formal education in Brazil. The context
of insertion of music in the text will be discussed considering the major laws in
the field of education and how these aspects consider its articulation in the
curriculum of basic education. In order to deepen the debate in recent decades,
we use the following documents, Law of Education Guidelines and Bases
(LDB/1996), National Curriculum Parameters of Primary and Secondary
(PCN/1997), the National Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Education
(RCNEI/1998), National Curricular Guidelines for Infant Education (DCNEI/2009)
and the National Curriculum Common Base (BNCC/2017). Despite the music is
inserted in the historical context of civilization and to be recognized as a great
tool for the development of the human being, even perceive the devaluation of
the use of music in education in basic education. |
