This study seeks to identify, what meanings the students have given to the phenomenon in the school context. Thus, we will try to better understand the process of production of meanings from the theoretical model of the semantic fields to then consistently reflect the problem issue of this work: What is the production of meanings for the sports practice of students of the handball team of 15 to 17 years of college Success? As a general goal, this study seeks to: Investigate the production of meanings for the sports practice of handball team students from 15 to 17 years of college success. Having specific objectives: 1) bibliographical review on sport and the theoretical Model of Semantic Fields. 2) Identify what meanings are produced for the sports practice of students of the handball team of 15 to 17 years of Success. 3) Analyze the meanings found from the Theoretical Model of the Semantic Fields. Methodologically we organize the work in three chapters, the first two of theoretical reference and the last one where we present and analyze the data to solve the problem. We approach theoretically the sport phenomenon from the work of Assis (2010), Bracht (2009) e Khunz (1994). For the process of production of meanings we mainly use the Lins (2012). As for the approach we use a mixed perspective, both qualitative and quantitative, being a study characterized as field research and analyzing the results with the theoretical model Lins, (2012). From the production of meanings for the sports practice of the students, we point out that they are data that ideas such as the formation of citizen and social mobility are predominant in the imaginary of the students of the team. And that income in the form of achievements and health benefits, as well as therapeutic benefits appear to a lesser extent. The meanings given to practice in a certain way approximate the objective of the sport phenomenon in the school dimension, but the meanings are produced from a very close matrix which can lead to confusion for the students. O fenômeno esportivo tem sido objeto de estudo de várias áreas de conhecimento, em especial pela educação Física pela forte entrada do fenômeno nas escolas. Este estudo, busca identificar, quais significados os alunos tem dado ao fenômeno no âmbito escolar. Sendo assim, buscaremos entender melhor o processo de produção de significados a partir do |Modelo teórico dos campos semânticos para então refletir de maneira consistente a questão problema deste trabalho: Qual a produção de significados para a prática esportiva de estudantes da equipe de handebol de 15 a 17 anos do colégio Sucesso? Enquanto objetivo geral, este estudo busca: Investigar qual a produção de significados para a prática esportiva de estudantes da equipe de handebol de 15 a 17 anos do Colégio sucesso. Tendo como objetivos específicos: 1) revisão bibliográfica sobre esporte e o Modelo teórico dos Campos Semânticos. 2) Identificar quais significados são produzidos para a prática esportiva dos estudantes da equipe de handebol de 15 a 17 anos do colégio Sucesso. 3) Analisar os significados encontrados a partir do Modelo Teórico dos campos Semânticos. Metodologicamente organizamos o trabalho em três capítulos, os dois primeiros de referencial teórico e o ultimo onde apresentamos e analisamos os dados para resolução da problemática. Aproximamo-nos teoricamente do fenômeno esportivo a partir do trabalho de Assis (2010), Bracht (2009) e Khunz (1994). Para o processo de produção de significados utilizamos principalmente as iéias de Lins (2012). Quanto a abordagem utilizamos uma perspectiva mista tanto qualitativa quanto quantitativa, sendo um estudo de caracterizado como pesquisa de campo e analisamos os resultados com o próprio Modelo teórico Lins, (2012). A partir da produção de significados para a prática esportiva dos alunos, apontamos que são dados que ideias como a formação de cidadão e mobilidade social são predominantes no imaginário dos estudantes da equipe. E que o rendimento na forma de conquistas e benefícios a saúde, assim como benefícios terapêuticos aparecem em menor proporção.
