The SDI has as theoretical-methodological references scientific literacy and research teaching. This is of paramount importance for a teaching proposal that aims to encourage teachers to encourage students to use renewable energy. Thus, in order to get them to have access to scientific knowledge, it is necessary a sequential elaboration of language and the epistemology of science by teachers. From this initial information, the proposed didactic sequence has as its crucial point, the way to obtain clean energy through the consciousness of energy conservation, from activities that develop students' scientific skills, such as: the hypothesis test , arguing, working with data, among others. Thus, scientific literacy and research teaching will provide a pedagogical environment that enables the student to broaden his or her worldview and make him / her capable of modifying his / her own reality. O presente trabalho baseia-se na proposição teórica de uma sequência didática investigativa (SDI) sobre a conservação de energia. A SDI tem como referenciais teórico-metodológicos a alfabetização científica e o ensino por investigação. Isto é de suma importância para uma proposta de ensino que tem por objetivo fazer com que os docentes despertem nos alunos a compreensão das energias existentes. Assim, com o intuito de levá-los a terem acesso aos conhecimentos científicos, faz- se necessário uma elaboração da linguagem e da epistemologia da ciência pelos docentes. Partindo destas informações iniciais, a sequência didática proposta tem como seu ponto crucial, o modo de se obter energia limpa através da consciência da conservação de energia, a partir de atividades que desenvolvam habilidades do fazer científico nos alunos, tais como: o teste de hipóteses, a argumentação, trabalharem com dados, dentre outros.
