Brazilian education has sought to raise the quality of teaching to minimize the difficulties of
students and consequently improve their rates in terms of learning. Mathematics is one of
the main challenges for this improvement to happen. Given the difficulties that students have
when studying, it is necessary to invest in new methodologies, and one of them is the object
of this dissertation, which proposes the development of a didactic sequence contextualizing
food and sports so that students in the eighth grade of elementary school II learn the content of
Proportion. The exploration of theoretical frameworks by making a bibliographic review was the
methodology applied using the deductive method. During the writing of this dissertation it was
observed that the theories of learning added to the methodology by repetition and memorization
can contribute significantly to the teaching work in the classroom. The main result of the work
is a didactic sequence, with an interdisciplinary approach and significant learning aimed at
elementary school teachers II who intend to innovate in the classroom. |
