The loss of teeth leads to numerous changes in the dental arches and the residual ridge. The professional who will replace this space with prostheses or dental implants often comes across spaces and conditions that are not conducive to running a good job. The rehabilitation work of this type of patient should always be followed with an excellent and thorough planning, integrating various dental specialties, in order to obtain the best aesthetic and functional result. This work aims to expose a complex clinical case, with integration of orthodontic and prosthetic dental specialties, to show how orthodontics can be a valuable tool when used as part of the prosthetic treatment plan. |
