The same is true at M.E.F. Prof. Izabel Barral, inserted in a community of agricultural tradition, Community Guarumã located in the municipality of Acará. Behind it takes a reflection on the relationship between the school, the subject of the field and the practices. Whether this relationship takes into account the specificities of country life. The research makes a qualitative analysis carried out in the school that has a demand of students 100% of the field, having as theoretical reference an articulation between the legal bases that structure the policies directed to the field education and the educators who defend a more concept extended field education. A pesquisa apresenta como objeto de estudo as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas muna escola do campo, visando verificar em meio aos seus diversos anseios se as mesmas contemplam a realidade dos seus alunos, que vivem nos espaços rurais. O lócus dessa pesquisa é a escola M.E.F. Prof.ª Izabel Barral, inserida numa comunidade de tradição agrícola, a Comunidade Guarumã localizada no município de Acará. O artigo busca trazer a tona uma reflexão a cerca da relação entre a escola, os sujeitos do campo e as práticas pedagógicas efetivadas na escola. Se essa relação leva em consideração as especificidades da vida no campo.
