The following research addresses the History of the Antônio Danúbio Environmental Park, located in the city of Ananindeua - PA, since its creation process and the activities that it offers in its space, in addition to its potential as an environmental heritage of the municipality. The theme of Environmental History and cultural and environmental Heritage is relevant to our society as a whole, as it is possible to debate questions about identity, culture, memory and preservation of a city or even a green space in the middle of the urban center. Parque Antônio Danúbio addresses as a whole important issues not only for its own preservation, but also for the city of Ananindeua as a whole, concerned with its interior and exterior; not only in saving the place in the past, but also in the present and the future.
