Resumo:
The use of technological resources has been increasing in the school environment in recent years. In the teaching of chemistry, educational software has also been used, in which these resources assist in the teaching work and act as a facilitator in the teaching-learning process of students. Based on this context, the question arises: Can the use of educational software effectively contribute to improving the teaching of chemistry? In this sense, the objective of this work was to analyze the use of the technological resource software Quip Table 4.01 as a facilitating tool in the teaching and learning process of Chemistry at the State High School Melvin Jones in the municipality of Uruará-PA. The research had a qualitative character and was developed in a Chemistry class of the 1st grade of high school, through the application of an educational software called Quip Table 4.01, and the data were collected through observations and pedagogical intervention. The results showed that the Chemistry classes developed from educational software are more efficient than those in which traditional methodologies are used. Thus, it is evident that the use of technological resources in chemistry classes can contribute to improve the teaching and learning process of high school students and the modernization of methodologies contribute to a better result in student learning.
