The present work aimed to study some meteorological elements and thermal comfort in the city of Belém during 2019, using information from three meteorological stations in the city. Air temperature, relative air humidity, rainfall and the Heat Index (CI) were studied. With the processed information, calculations were made to assess the existence and intensity of the Urban Heat Island (ICU) in the city. Among the three locations studied, the air temperature was higher in the neighborhood of São Brás and lower in UFPA and at the airport, respectively. The air humidity varied little between the studied sites, and the rainfall showed variability, being higher on the UFPA campus when compared to the São Brás neighborhood. At the airport, precipitation data was not available. The existence of ICU in the city was detected, with a weak intensity.
