The study is a qualitative approach of ethnophotographic type. The research has as research locus the Pontinha do Bacuriteua Traditional Community, located around the mangroves of the Caeté-Taperaçu Marine Extractive Reserve (RESEX-MAR), located in Bragança, Pará. data participant observation, conversation wheel, work panel, reading and writing activity and photographic record. Data analysis is supported by the discourse analysis technique in Bakhtin, using the category polyphony. Eleven children aged from 08 to 12 years old, enrolled in Bragança municipal schools, participated in the research. The research findings point to an intense production of children's cultures. It reveals a broad interaction of children with artisanal fishing, work and school in the community. They articulate traditional knowledge articulated school knowledge, revealing the existence of work as an educational principle. Artisanal fishing expressed in children's discourse is the place of joy, play and formation of human existence through content and form, denying the demeaning condition of child labor. The discursive statements align the social experiences of each child in the interaction with the community and environment in which they live. We conclude that the uniqueness of children concerning artisanal fishing allows us to realize that the formative character of fishing is in the relationship between fishing knowledge and school knowledge, affirming the presence of work as a formator of social life in the context of the Pontinha do Bacuriteua Community. A pesquisa analisa nos discursos de crianças os sentidos e significados sobre a pesca artesanal, trabalho e escola em uma Comunidade pesqueira da Amazônia bragantina. O estudo é de abordagem qualitativa do tipo etnofotográfica. A pesquisa tem como lócus de investigação a Comunidade Tradicional da Pontinha do Bacuriteua, localizada no entorno de manguezais da Reserva Extrativista Marinha de Caeté-Taperaçu (RESEX-MAR), situada no município de Bragança, Pará. O estudo utiliza como procedimentos de coleta de dados a observação participante, roda de conversa, painel do trabalho, atividade de leitura e escrita e registro fotográfico. A análise dos dados é sustentada na técnica de análise do discurso em Bakhtin, no uso da categoria polifonia. Participaram da pesquisa 11 (onze) crianças com idades entre 08 a 12 anos, matriculadas em escolas da rede municipal de Bragança. Os achados da pesquisa apontam para uma intensa produção das culturas infantis. Revela uma ampla interação das crianças com a pesca artesanal, trabalho e a escola na Comunidade. Enunciam saberes tradicionais articulados os saberes escolares, revelando a existência do trabalho como princípio educativo. A pesca artesanal apresentada no discurso das crianças é o lugar da alegria, do brincar e da formação da existência humana por meio do conteúdo e da forma, negando a condição aviltante do trabalho infantil. Os enunciados discursivos se alinham as experiências sociais de cada criança na interação com a Comunidade e no meio ambiente em que vivem.
