Resumo:
The informational situation brought by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Brazil, in order to explore and contribute to the discussions around the Information Literacy and Archival Science, especially in the context of informational phenomena in the Archival context - a moment marked by the informational avalanche that, at times, resulted in misinformation - fostered in Brazil by the federal government - it is an opportune moment to carry out the research. The general objective of the research is to understand the relationship of official records, produced by the Brazilian federal government, configured as information / archival document, during the period of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, which resulted in a process of disinformation, and to know the role of Archival Science and Information Literacy in this context. The specific objectives are: to list official documents that contributed negatively to the prevention and control of the pandemic; false or taken out of context information disseminated by the media in Brazil; and understand how Information Literacy skills are essential to mitigate the infodemic. Thus, a qualitative approach research was carried out, of a basic nature to provide a new contribution to researches involving Archival Science and Information Literacy, using bibliographic and documentary research procedures, in the scope of theory and official documents and with exploratory objectives, aiming at understand the informational situation in Brazil with the pandemic, being material for further research. Two documents of national validity and with orientation contrary to internationally recommended prevention measures were selected, proving that the speech presented worsened the pandemic in Brazil.
