The present work deals with an evaluative research that allows the investigation of six iterative methods of determination polynomials roots. The objective was to analyse from the perspective of the attraction basins the performance of the methods and, for that, nine polynomials were adopted for investigation. The work presents an explanation with respect to Fractal Geometry properties, as well as definitions of measures to be used in evaluating these polynomials. As a result, it is perceived that it is necessary to understand the use of the methods to obtain properties to facilitate the choice of use. |
