Resumo:
The article deals with the theme of quality of life in conservation units, identifying social and environmental strategies in the management of conservation territories. The Caeté Taperaçu Marine Extractive Reserve was selected, in the municipality of Bragança-Pa as the study site. Two categories of analysis were chosen: The State and Civil Society, characterizing the practices and analyzing the execution of the initiatives. A comparison was made between the macro-scale of government and the micro-scale of local communities. The objective of this study is to identify environmental management strategies related to quality of life for women in the territory of Resex Mar Caeté Taperaçu, Brangança-PA. As a case study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with two groups of women in Resex Caeté Taperaçu. The interviews followed themes that could provide support for the comparison of strategies of government and grassroots and movements. In this sense, the two groups, (1) participants in the Bolsa Verde program and (2) participants in an autonomous group of agroecological practices, differed in participatory trajectories, and as a result, in the effectiveness of strategies as a means of autonomy Key.
