The internship is an essential part of the curriculum of any undergraduate course, considered by students as “the practical part of the course”, linking theoretical knowledge contextualized in the classroom with the professional practice in which the intern will work in the future. However, after the beginning of the public health crisis that shook the planet (COVID-19
Pandemic), the realization of internships had to be methodologically rethought to adapt to the new reality. In the case of undergraduate courses, the difficulty was much greater, since the internship provided a direct encounter with the school environment, in which the intern participated in person in the activities; assuming the management of the class and experiencing the teaching practice and its various didactic forms. In this way, this work seeks to highlight the experience of the discipline of Supervised Internship IV held in the academic period 2021.3 of the Federal University of Pará on the Bragança Campus at the State School of Elementary and Middle Education Radiophonic Education System of Bragança-SERB in the 1st and 2nd classes stages in the Youth and Adult Education modality of High School during the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to present the difficulties and methodologies used in the teaching process and the influence of the pandemic during the supervised internship IV, as well as to expose the perception of both the intern and the teacher, in addition to showing the importance of a school that uses teaching via radio to bring education to hundreds of students who do not have or did not have the opportunity to study during their youth. Well, with this it is expected to obtain information on how the pandemic may have influenced the educational form of a school that uses the radio system as a form of teaching, as well as to expose the importance and present the contributions that the internship carried out in a radio school can provide for student training. |
