Resumo:
In this work, we sought to study changes in diet, which affected the way of life in the community of Bom Jesus do Centro Ouro, located in the Quilombola Territory of Jambuaçu, municipality of Moju, Pará. Thus, the general objective was to analyze the changes in the diet caused by the introduction of large enterprises in the surroundings of the quilombola territory, which directly affected the way of life and the ecological environment. For develop the objective of the research, a survey of the literature related to thematic and field research in the mentioned community, with selection of ten units family members for the application of semi-structured open questionnaires. The data allowed visualize ethnic aspects of the relationship with the territory, on the ways of working in swiddens and their management, which are also intertwined by the dietary changes that occurred in the last years. Dietary changes are perceived by the interviewees, based on the their speeches, which indicate crop varieties and fish species that are currently not found in their food. The disappearance of fish was pointed out as the reason for this absence and the varieties of cuttings cultivated before diversified, today are more restricted to two, being the yellow one and the black one.
