It was developed through the methodology of teaching Experimental Activities by Rediscovery, which is characterized by the use of the steps of the scientific method, where the student develops abilities to observe, analyze, research, evaluate, infer and test, with the student participating actively in the process of building his knowledge. Four activities were applied with eighth grade students from a public school located in the city of Acará-PA. Soon after the methodology used, a greater understanding of the concepts presented was noticed. In this perspective, several authors have proposed activities in an attempt to facilitate the teaching and learning process in mathematics, especially when it comes to difficult to understand content, thus demonstrating that the use of experimental activities is characterized as a facilitating resource that goes beyond traditional teaching and provides effective manipulation of theories and concepts discussed in class. Essa pesquisa exibe um estudo sobre o ensino da Equação Exponencial por Atividade Experimental, tendo como objetivo compreender a relevância das Atividades Experimentais como metodologia para o ensino de Equações Exponenciais. Foi desenvolvida através da metodologia do ensino de Atividades Experimentais por Redescoberta, na qual se caracteriza pela utilização das etapas do método científico, onde o discente desenvolve habilidades de observar, analisar, pesquisar, avaliar, inferir e testar, com o aluno participando ativamente do processo de construção de seu conhecimento. Foram aplicadas quatro atividades com estudantes do oitavo ano de uma escola pública localizada no município de Acará-PA. Logo após a metodologia utilizada, notou-se um maior entendimento dos conceitos apresentados.
