Construction planning has become a major field in construction in the 21st century due to changing economy scenarios, globalization, increased competitiveness, and the need for construction companies to become industries. The function of the prior planning is to lay out the works of the work before its beginning, in such a way that the methods of construction and the most adequate means of production are chosen, and these are coordinated among themselves, considering the whole framework of internal and external constraints to the company. The purpose of this planning is to obtain the highest possible yield with the lowest execution cost possible. The present work consists of a brief theoretical presentation of what is the planning of the work and how to do it. Later, using a suitable methodology, the diagnosis of the execution of the Cultural Complex was made, located in the municipality of Tucuruí. The objective of this study was to demonstrate the correct execution of a large work planning, the
constructive sequences, the regulations that govern this execution and, finally, what is more characteristic of a planning, the execution schedule.
