In this sense, the research was based on a great reference from the scientific community of Ethnomathematics, Ubiratan D'Ambrósio and other scholars. This research is qualitative in nature. The research participants were 03 fishermen, aged between 45 and 50 years. The analysis of the research was carried out in an interpretive way against the literature relevant to Ethnomathematics in Mathematics Education and the collected data, such as: audios, videos, photos, notes in an observation journal. The results showed that Ethnomathematics is a tool that follows a transdisciplinary path and thus successfully translates the dimensions of knowledge produced in the practice of fishing, especially the mathematical knowledge that was revealed during this research with cultural, social, historical and traditional. O presente trabalho busca investigar a natureza dos saberes que estão presentes na prática da pesca artesanal da comunidade Prainha no município de Salinópolis /PA. Neste sentido, a pesquisa baseou-se em uma grande referência da comunidade científica da Etnomatemática, Ubiratan D’Ambrósio e de outros estudiosos. Esta pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa. Os participantes da pesquisa foram 03 pescadores, com idades entre 41 a 51 anos. A análise da pesquisa foi realizada de forma descritiva e interpretativa frente à literatura pertinente a Etnomatemática na Educação Matemática e os dados coletados, como: áudios, vídeos, fotos, anotações em diário de observação. Os resultados mostraram que a Etnomatemática é uma ferramenta que percorre um caminho transdisciplinar e dessa forma traduz com êxito as dimensões dos saberes produzidos na prática da pesca, em especial os saberes matemáticos que se revelaram no decorrer desta pesquisa com fundamentação cultural, social, histórica e tradicional. 2022-09-22T17:35:18Z 2022-09-22T17:35:18Z 2021-10-18 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SILVA, Fátima Suellen Barros da; RIBEIRO, Rogério Damasceno.
