To carry out this research, it was necessary to use sources such as: interviews with residents, legends, photos and musical lyrics. For that, I made an analysis of the founding history of the city of Concórdia do Pará, its geographical location, the founding history of the Campo Verde community in the period from 1979 to the present. In the case of a quilombola community, this research also includes a bit of the history of the foundation of ARQUINEC (Associação dos Remanescentes de Quilombo Nova Esperança de Concórdia do Pará). O presente artigo tem como objetivo mostrar a importância das músicas escritas por moradores da comunidade quilombola Campo Verde e como as pessoas se identificam através dessas músicas, firmando uma identidade e mostrando resistências, lutas e conquistas por seus direitos. Para a realização desta pesquisa fez-se necessário o uso de fontes como: entrevistas com moradores, lendas, fotos e letras das músicas. Para tanto, fiz uma análise da história de fundação do município de Concórdia do Pará, sua localização geográfica, a história de fundação da comunidade de Campo Verde no período de 1979 até os dias atuais.
