It is intended to discuss the socio-territorial formation of the municipality in order to reflect on its multipli(city) of occupation and consolidation of the urban nucleus and, thus, to think about the effectiveness of the REURB in the light of the understanding of the relations of the local social agents in the Amazonian territory, understanding the environmental specificities that mark the housing and sanitary conditions in the municipality. For the clipping of this wide universe of research, the systematic literature review was defined as a methodology for the analysis of secondary data. O presente artigo é fruto de reflexões iniciais sobre a implementação de regularização fundiária urbana no município de Iranduba, Estado do Amazonas, que aderiu, recentemente, ao Programa Rede Amazônia: morar, conviver e preservar, parceria entre a Comissão de Regularização Fundiária da Universidade Federal do Pará (CRF-UFPA) e Ministério de Desenvolvimento Regional (MDR). Pretende-se discorrer sobre a formação socioterritorial do município a fim de refletir sobre as suas multipli(cidades) de ocupação e consolidação de núcleo urbano e, assim pensar a efetivação da REURB à luz do entendimento das relações dos agentes sociais locais no território amazônico, compreendendo as especificidades ambientais que marcam as condições habitacionais e sanitárias no município.
