This study proposes the development of a computerized Digital Library system that provides,
in a technological way, access to the course completion work developed by the campus’
students from Federal University of Pará in Castanhal, aiming to disclosure these free materials,
making these works more recognized within the academic and extern community, making the
research practice and the knowledge acquirement from these works easier. Seeking the
development of a computerized method for the propagation of the course completion work’s
collection available in the campus’ library, the Digital Library David Sá is presented as a system
that uses these materials, besides using the QR mode technology like an extension of the access
to the available works in the collection that consists in a 2D barcode that can be scanned for the
majority of the smartphones with a digital camera. This code, after the decoding, becomes an
excerpt from a text, a photo, or a link that will redirect the access to the published contents at
some site. The objective is to propose a computerized method to course completion work’s
researches in a library, breaking the time and space barrier to obtain and disseminate
knowledge.
