The clashes related to land occupation and use were frequent at various moments in the country's history. Given the particularities of each temporality and region, these events have reached a multiplicity of instances and developments. Under this context, this article aims to analyze the link between multiple crimes in Pará(1877-1900), more precisely in the comarcas of Cachoeira and Benevides, and their relations with land rights and tenure, that is, how the land constituted a major factor of dispute in the eighteen hundreds, present in criminal cases of diverse nature and within different tensions and relationships. |
