Therefore, it was necessary to describe the basic sanitation conditions based on the selection of some sectorial indicators, identify the existence of sanitation policies and plans in the municipalities studied and prepare thematic maps that illustrate the basic sanitation conditions of the municipalities of the microregion of Cametá. The method used was based on a basic research with a qualitativequantitative and exploratory approach. In view of this, it was found that there are no basic sanitation policies and plans in most municipalities, as well as some of the basic sanitation services are not satisfactory and the absence of collection and treatment of sanitary sewage and urban drainage infrastructure, where it was possible to conclude that the micro-region presents a great delay in the universalization of basic sanitation services. O atual cenário do saneamento básico na Região Norte traz inquietações, principalmente na microrregião de Cametá, surgiu então o interesse em realizar este estudo, mediante a verificação da existência de poucas pesquisas realizada sobre o saneamento básico na microrregião de Cametá e considerar de forma substancial que haja a estruturação do sistema de saneamento básico, desta forma, este trabalho tratou de falar acerca do diagnóstico das condições de saneamento básico da microrregião de Cametá – PA, afim de avaliar as condições de saneamento básico dos municípios que compõe a microrregião de Cametá-Pará. Por tanto, foi necessário descrever as condições de saneamento básico com base na seleção de alguns indicadores setoriais, identificar a existência das políticas e planos de saneamento nos municípios estudados e elaborar mapas temáticos que ilustrem as condições de saneamento básico dos municípios da microrregião de Cametá. O método utilizado partiu de uma pesquisa básica com abordagem quali-quantitativa e de caráter exploratória. Diante disso, verificou-se que não existem políticas e planos de saneamento básico em boa parte dos municípios, assim também como alguns dos serviços de saneamento básico não são satisfatórios e a ausência de coleta e tratamento de esgoto sanitário e infraestrutura de drenagem urbana, onde foi possível concluir que a microrregião apresenta grande atraso na universalização dos serviços de saneamento básico. 2023-01-16T15:01:38Z 2023-01-16T15:01:38Z 2022-08-26 Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia GAIA, Franciana Valente.
