In this perspective, this article aims to characterize the children's daily life from the interactions and games in the riverside community of Campompema, Abaetetuba-Pará. The emphasis is on the social interactions that are experienced by the children of this location and that produce the children's culture of these subjects. The study was developed with children from early childhood education on Campompema Island, Abaetetuba/Pará, in the Pai São João Batista II settlement. The methodology used for data collection and analysis was the ethnographic study, which took place through interviews, dialogues and observations. Through the observations made, the child's contact with nature and their experiences and children's productions on the island of Campompema, where they live and study, were investigated. The children of this place live and enjoy nature; play and invent toys with materials found in nature. With this, children learn to interact with their peers and adults, in addition to integrating themselves into household chores helping their parents in their daily work. In this way, it is concluded that the contact and the experiences lived in the school on the island of Campompema are fundamental for the development of the natural child of the place, because the school values the knowledge of the countryside, without losing contact with other cultures studied in the area. classroom. Therefore, the observations made allowed us to understand the playful actions of riverside children and to understand that they do not need objects consumed by city children to develop their creativity, given that riverside children are free to play and develop their curiosity and imagination, provided by a fertile learning environment in which the full development of the child can be seen. O ato de brincar é uma forma de comunicação por meio da qual a criança desenvolve-se integralmente em aspectos físicos, sociais, culturais, afetivos, emocionais ou cognitivos. Nessa perspectiva, o presente artigo visa caracterizar o cotidiano infantil a partir das interações e brincadeiras na comunidade ribeirinha de Campompema, Abaetetuba-Pará. A ênfase recai sobre as interações sociais que são vivenciadas pelas crianças dessa localidade e que produzem a cultura infantil desses sujeitos. O estudo foi desenvolvido junto a crianças da educação infantil da ilha Campompema, Abaetetuba/Pará, no assentamento Pai São João Batista II. A metodologia utilizada para coleta e análise dos dados foi o estudo etnográfico, que ocorreu através da realização de entrevistas, diálogos e observações. Através das observações feitas averiguou-se o contato da criança com a natureza e suas experiências e produções infantis da ilha de Campompema, onde vivem estudam. As crianças desse lugar vivem e desfrutam da natureza; brincam e inventam brinquedos com materiais achados na natureza. Com isso, as crianças aprendem a interagir com seus pares e com adultos, além de se integrarem nas tarefas domésticas ajudando seus pais nos trabalhos diários. Dessa forma, conclui-se, que o contato e as experiências vivenciadas na escola da ilha de Campompema são fundamentais para o desenvolvimento da criança natural do lugar, pois a escola valoriza os saberes do campo, sem perder o contato com outras culturas estudadas na em sala de aula.
