After a series of factors that led the companies to a process of decay that culminated in the closure of many of them, the Redoubt ceased to be the industrial center of the city. The creation of new criteria for the use and occupation of urban land, associated with urban growth, gave rise to a new configuration of space, and in this context industrial activity became an unknown quantity. The problem of this work is based on the lack of georeferenced data of industrial enterprises in the city of Belém do Pará. Therefore, the objective of this work is to show the existence of an industrial activity through a map with the spatialization of industrial enterprises. Having as a methodology the bibliography research, the fieldwork and the use of geoprocessing techniques with emphasis on the use of a Geographic Information System – GIS. Localizada na região norte do Brasil, a cidade de Belém do Para teve seu auge econômico no período áureo da borracha, época na qual foi implantado no bairro do Reduto o primeiro polo industrial da cidade. Após uma série de fatores que levaram as empresas a um processo de decadência que culminou no fechamento de muitas delas, o Reduto deixou de ser o polo industrial da cidade. A criação de novos critérios de uso e ocupação do solo urbano, associado ao crescimento urbano deu origem a uma nova configuração do espaço, e nesse contexto a atividade industrial se tornou uma incógnita. A problemática deste trabalho tem como fundamento a inexistência de dados georreferenciados dos empreendimentos industriais da cidade de Belém do Pará. Por isso, o objetivo deste trabalho foi mostrar a existência de uma atividade industrial por meio de um mapa com a espacialização dos empreendimentos industriais.
