The present work aims to report the trajectory of the Grupo de Teatro Encenação
Cultural do Pará. Part of the need to make a historical overview of the group in order
to produce an artistic-cultural record for the history of art in the city of Belém do Pará.
Bringing with it the activities related to the group, such as the production of shows
and theatrical sketches. I start from my artistic trajectory to tell the history of the
group, and taking oral history and memory studies as a theoretical-methodological
path through the concepts of Halbwachs(1990), Le Goff(2003), Candau(2011) and
Gil(2006) , which dialogues with my research on documentation and registration, as
well as interviews and documents. The theater group Encenação has as its main fo-
cus the production of children's shows, in addition to promoting adult and business
theater. Therefore, the responsibility of contributing to the historical-artistic-cultural
records of our nation's theater is necessary.
