It deals with an occurrence of the stock media of the Central Library of the Federal University of Pará and the factors that influence the process. It has specific objectives, make sure that the Central Library has an image license and how it is available to its users, as well as trying to detect which are barriers with an average of the images by the librarians. That was how it was concluded with four librarians, being they of the sector of Reference, Technical processing and rare works. It was verified that the Central Library has an image code, for example, how they are available for a users query. They have also been identified as the main barriers encountered in the media, either directly or indirectly, for example, on behalf of others, through information, lack of equipment and management systems that is without command of the library.
