It is a qualitative and quantitative study, transversal and descriptive, people with diabetes in the city of BelémPA. Data were collected using protocols such as the Katz Index, the Self Care Activities Questionnaire with Diabetes (QDA) and the Occupational Profile, and a semi structured questionnaire on possible occupational effects experienced by patients. Data were grouped, categorized and analyzed with the help of descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. The sample consisted of 24 subjects, 62.5% female and 37.5% male, with a predominance of participants aged 5160 years. In addition, 37.5% of participants have incomplete grade, 62% of participants were married, 38% have a diagnosis of 10 to 15 years and 17% reported not to have more feeling in your feet. As for the occupational profile, the main difficulties were need assistance to dress the lower limbs. Most participants reported not having any difficulty performing ADLs. On the other hand, they mentioned some difficulties in performing IADL, especially with regard to mobility in the community and shopping. It was observed that 79.2% of the participants do not perform regular physical activity. This study identified the presence of occupational repercussions on the daily lives of people with diabetes, especially in relation to food, health care with the completion of household chores, work and leisure. The information presented in this study may help in the understanding of diabetes influence on occupational lives. Such information may be used in the provision of health services for this population Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender as repercussões ocupacionais em pacientes com pé diabético. Tratase de um estudo qualiquantitativo, transversal e descritivo, com pessoas com diabetes da cidade de BelémPA. Os dados foram coletados por meio de protocolos como o Índice de Katz, o Questionário de Atividades de Autocuidado com o Diabetes (QDA) e o Perfil Ocupacional, além de um questionário semiestruturado sobre possíveis repercussões ocupacionais vivenciadas pelos pacientes. Os dados foram agrupados, categorizados e analisados com o auxílio da estatística descritiva e da análise temática. A amostra foi constituída por 24 sujeitos, sendo 62,5% do gênero feminino e 37,5% do masculino, com um predomínio de participantes na faixa etária de 51 a 60 anos. Além disso, 37,5% dos participantes possuem 1º grau incompleto, 62% dos participantes eram casados, 38% possuem o diagnóstico de 10 a 15 anos e 17% relataram não possuir mais sensibilidade nos pés. Quanto ao perfil ocupacional as principais dificuldades foram necessitar de assistência para vestir os membros inferiores. A maioria dos participantes informou não possuir dificuldades em realizar alguma AVD´s. Por outro lado, mencionaram dificuldades em desempenhar algumas AIVD’s, principalmente no que concerne a mobilidade na comunidade e fazer compras. Observouse que 79,2 % dos participantes não desempenham atividade física regularmente. Este estudo identificou a presença de repercussões ocupacionais no dia a dia de pessoas com diabetes, principalmente em relação à alimentação, cuidado com a saúde realização dos afazeres domésticos, trabalho e lazer. As informações apresentadas nesta pesquisa podem auxiliar na compreensão da influência da diabetes na vida ocupacional das pessoas.
