Autistic spectrum disorder(ADS) is characterized by persistente déficits in behavioral, social and/or cognitive áreas, occurring from birth. A result, there are complications not only for the individual but also for Family members. From this, this systematic review of the objective literature investigate the impacto of the diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder to the Family. This research was conducted in the electronic database Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and articles published in the period 2010 to 2019 were used as inclusion criteria portuguese and related to the impacto of the diagnosis of ADS on the Family. The descriptors”autism”AND “Family”AND “diagnosis” were used. Five articles were obtained and in a detailed study, it was verified as results: the momento of diagnosis was difficult and even conflicted among parentes and/or Family members; the predominance of the parent being the main caregiver, while the parente has sporadic participation in the activities of daily living (ADL) of the child, and the injury in the social participation of these family members according to the individual with ADS.It is concluded that there is a need to investigate further the occupational repercussions that exist in the Family of indiviuals with the disorder, and that despite the importance of understanding the mother in this contexto, it is considered necessary further research on these issues in the lives of other Family members involved especially of Brothers who have a lower incidence of contemplation in research.
