Screening and development monitoring DNPM is of paramount importance, as it assists in the detection of possible injuries in the development and monitors the child's developmental milestones, as well as the relationship with risk factors. This research aimed to investigate the relationship between the quality of the family environment, the biopsychosocial characteristics of the child and family and the neuropsychomotor development of children in an Education Unit Children's (UEI). In this sense, the research was carried out with 19 children from a UEI in municipality of Belém do Pará, through evaluation instruments such as Test Denver II, from the Child Characteristics Questionnaire (QCC), Critério Brasil, Family Poverty Index (IPF) and Affordances in the Home questionnaire Environment for Motor Development Infant Scale (AHEND). In the QCC, the variables that showed statistical significance were married parents (p=0.03), profession of father (p=0.05) and monthly income (p=0.02). With regard to the family environment, variables such as: poor external space, few materials for fine and gross motor skills, as well how the variety of unsatisfactory stimuli also influenced the development suspected of delay. The results point to need for more effective public policies in early childhood and actions aimed at early stimulation in the family environment. O Desenvolvimento Neuropsicomotor (DNPM) é descrito como a integração do sistema nervoso, motor e sensorial, influenciado por fatores hereditários e ambientais. A realização de triagem e o acompanhamento do desenvolvimento DNPM é de suma importância, pois auxilia da detecção de possíveis agravos no desenvolvimento e monitora os marcos desenvolvimentais da criança, bem como a relação com os fatores de riscos. Este pesquisa objetivou investigar a relação entre a qualidade do ambiente familiar, as características biopsicossociais da criança e da família e o desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor de crianças em Unidade de Educação Infantil (UEI). Nesse sentido, a pesquisa foi feita com 19 crianças de uma UEI do município de Belém do Pará, por meio de instrumentos de avaliação como Teste Denver II, do Questionário das Características da Criança (QCC), Critério Brasil, Índice de Pobreza da Família (IPF) e questionário Affordances in the Home Environment for Motor Development Infant Scale (AHEND). No QCC, as variáveis que apresentaram significância estatística foram pais casados (p=0,03), profissão do pai (p=0,05) e renda mensal (p=0,02). No que tange o ambiente familiar, variáveis como: fraco espaço externo, poucos materiais de motricidade fina e grossa, bem como a variedade de estímulos não satisfatórias influenciaram também no desenvolvimento tido como suspeito de atraso.
