Bibliographical research was used to list concepts related to the object of study, as well as studies that supported the intended analysis. For this, official documents and scientific productions were analyzed, which similarly point to the need to efficiently meet the contents specified in the BNCC, the need to improve the contents taught and the methods used in the classroom, as well as the search for contextualization of the contents, so that the student perceives the relationship between theory and his daily life, as a way of reinforcing learning and leading him to use this knowledge in a practical way in his present and in his future. The research ends with the proposition of exercises that approach contents related to Financial Mathematics. It is concluded that the improvement of the teaching of Financial Mathematics is directly related to the formation of citizens with a critical sense, capable of understanding the economic scenario in which they are inserted, with greater capacity to exercise their rights and manage their finances. Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo analisar métodos relacionados ao ensino da Matemática Financeira no Ensino Médio. Foi utilizada pesquisa bibliográfica para elencar conceitos relativos ao objeto de estudo, assim como estudos que subsidiassem a análise pretendida. Para tal foram analisados documentos oficiais e produções científicas, que de forma similar apontam a necessidade de atender de forma eficiente aos conteúdos especificados na BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular), a necessidade de aperfeiçoamento dos conteúdos ministrados e os métodos utilizados em sala de aula, como também a busca pela contextualização adequada dos conteúdos, de forma que o aluno perceba a relação entre teoria e seu cotidiano, como forma de reforçar o aprendizado e conduzi-lo para que se utilize deste conhecimento de forma prática no seu presente e no seu futuro. A pesquisa se encerra com a proposição de exercícios que abordam os conteúdos relacionados à Matemática Financeira.
