It aimed to situate the childhood culture of Quilombola children from Tauerá-Açú, highlighting the daily life of/in the waters from their voices and social practices. The qualitative approach investigation involved a bibliographical study based on theorists who discuss the theme, as well as field research using observation, interviews and photography. As part of the results obtained by the study, we found that children enhance their knowledge, as their interactive and relational practices are always happening, in different baths in rivers, in contemplations and crossings, in the games they invent, in the school that plays in their world/ them, in the family, etc. It was possible to evidence a rich Amazonian natural/social environment of learning, from the knowledge of quilombola children. It was noticed the knowledge, the daily life, the invisibilities of the children in the face of the rich diversity of the place, still, as a synthesis, we saw a type of children's culture that is processed in the spaces of the waters, as a practice that needs to be valued and preserved, considering the emancipation and freedom of expression of children in their educational and identity process. Este estudo trata do viver de crianças quilombolas da comunidade Tauerá-Açú, município de Abaetetuba-PA, especialmente suas interações infantis e a relação com as águas. Teve como objetivo situar a cultura infantil de crianças quilombolas do Tauerá-Açú, sobressaindo o cotidiano de/nas águas a partir de suas vozes e práticas sociais. A investigação de abordagem qualitativa, envolveu o estudo bibliográfico a partir de teóricos que discutem o tema bem como foi realizada pesquisa de campo com o uso de observação, de entrevistas e da fotografia. Como parte dos resultados obtidos pelo estudo, constatamos que as crianças potencializam seus saberes, pois suas práticas interativas e relacionais estão sempre acontecendo, em diferentes banhos nos rios, nas contemplações e travessias, nas brincadeiras que inventam, na escola que brinca no mundo deles/delas, na família etc. Foi possível evidenciar um ambiente natural/social amazônico rico de aprendizagem, das sabenças de crianças quilombolas.
