Resumo:
The Pemphigus are autoimmune bollous pathologies wich tend to progress present chronic evolution and unlimited character. The blisters own intraepidermal location and originate from an acantholytic process. There are several types of Pemphigus and the Foliaceus and Vulgaris forms are the most commom. The Vulgaris variant is characterized by autoimmunity to desmoglein 3 wich causes blistering on the skin and mucous membrane. In contrast in the Foliaceus form occurs autoimmuity to desmoglein 1 wich results in blistering on the peel only different from what occurs in Pemphigus Vulgaris (PV). The present search peformed a socioepidemiological analysis on the pemphigus cases with an amount of 102 patients presenting pemphigus Foliaceus or Vulgaris diagnosed by histopathological examination peformed on the dermatology department from Federal University of Pará in a period of 30 years. The collected information were organized on tables, posteriorly inserted in a database to analysis the variants by chi square test and G test. In the search’s sample was observed Pemphigus Foliaceus (PF) affect with higher incidence young pacientes compared to vulgaris type. Besides that Pemphigus Vulgaris occurs with higher frequency in woman different to Foliaceus variant wich presentes high frequence in men. According to the occupation associeted to place of residence, occupations of urban character were higher in both types of Pemphigus wich shows higher frequency of patientes in metropolitan area. In addiction, the present analysis demonstrated the low frequency of new cases both for Pemphigus Vulgaris and Pemphigus Foliaceus, however the knowloedgment of that patology presents high importance due to the huge personal impact and in life’s quality of the patient who carries that desease.
