Resumo:
During the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, a highly transmissible respiratory infection caused by SARS-CoV-2, it was believed that young populations that contracted the disease presented themselves as oligosymptomatic, becoming mainly carriers and transmitters of the virus. However, there are direct consequences for childhood exposure to covid-19, such as Priria Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (SIM-P) and new clinical forms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The present observational, descriptive and epidemiological study aims to identify spatial patterns in the distribution of SARS and SIM-P rates by covid-19 in the state of Pará, between January 2020 and June 2022, in individuals from 0 to 11 years, using the OpenDataSUS database and Epidemiological Bulletins of the Ministry of Health. The analysis of the results indicated the uneven and disproportionate way that the covid-19 pandemic has been affecting the different pediatric age groups in the Pará scenario, helping to understand and plan actions to combat covid-19 in the short, medium and long term in different ways. levels of epidemiological management.
