Resumo:
The present work is entitled Didactic sequence: the autobiographical genre as an incentive to reading and writing. Autobiography is a textual genre of narrative typology in which a real person makes a retrospective of his own existence, emphasizing his individuality. The study is a qualitative research whose general objective is to present a didactic intervention proposal for the development of reading and writing in the 9th year of elementary school based on the autobiography genre. To achieve this objective, we intend to understand the characteristics of the autobiography textual genre and show how this textual genre can contribute to the development of reading and writing in elementary school. This didactic proposal will certainly make a positive contribution by offering support to teachers in the classroom and favoring the development of students' reading and writing skills. The study is based on studies by Bakhtin (1997), Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004) and Lejeune (2008).
