Resumo:
The present work has as theme the playful one as facilitator of the teaching learning of literacy and literacy in the initial grades of elementary school. It is known that this method of teaching is based on the theory of Vygotsky that relates the importance of the playful to the learning of the student. Thus, this research arises from the following problematic: "Why do teachers in the initial grades, specifically from the first fundamental year, not use playability as a facilitating tool in the literacy process?" This research has a qualitative approach being carried out at the Escola Municipal de Teaching of Early Childhood Education and Basic education Nova Union, which is located in the municipality of Abaetetuba. For that, a questionnaire was used for three educators working in the first year of the initial grades of elementary school. The information acquired during the research work benefited the argumentation and the elaboration of this work based on the perspective of making the process of literacy and literacy viable in a more dynamic and pleasant way. It is notorious that this research was extremely important to conclude; playfulness is a pleasant way of working in reading and writing, providing stimulation, satisfaction and intellectual growth to the students' teaching learning.
