We discuss the category identity as belonging and correlation with environment and territory in which they live. The research identified that it is necessary to value the quilombola identity of the community in a more effective way, not only in specific periods, but a permanent pedagogical political work and the school. A presente pesquisa investiga a identidade quilombola relacionada com as práticas pedagógicas oferecidas pela escola no ensino fundamental menor mediante, entre as técnicas de coletas de dados foram realizadas entrevistas e dinâmicas de roda de conversa com os alunos do ensino fundamental incluindo a educação infantil no qual foram realizados registros fotográficos e entregue um questionário para os professores, além disso, realizamos a observação participante. Discutimos a categoria identidade como pertença e correlação com ambiente e território em que vivem.
