Oral history was the methodology used to prepare this article, as “Our Sabá King” is part of the community's experience, in the memory of the fishermen and in the very strong beliefs and cults of the population, especially the Umbanda faithful. Therefore, it is important to highlight how oral narratives support and perpetuate this myth in our municipality. From Sebastianism in Piraba, legends, tales, myths, history and cures emerge that populate the imagination of the region, which, paradoxically, (re)feed the One-Trinity that is inscribed in the Sebastian myth and operates as its support. Many questions were asked, all so that it could be understood, who would be King Sabá at the end of the Castle? What relationship would he have with D. Sebastião and S. Sebastião? How important is it to the community and why is it important? Why is there such a strong cult and devotion among the residents of this region? And how is the relationship with religious syncretism? Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender a tríade sincrético-religiosa que adorna o sebastianismo pirabense e que deu origem ao “nosso Rei Sabá” e o porquê da firme presença de crenças e sua importância para a construção da identidade local. A história oral foi a metodologia usada para a elaboração deste artigo, pois “Nosso Rei Sabá” está na vivência da comunidade, na memória dos pescadores e nas fortíssimas crendices e cultos da população, principalmente dos fiéis da umbanda. Por isso, é importante destacar como as narrativas orais dão sustentabilidade e perpetuação desse mito em nosso município. Do sebastianismo pirabense desencadeiam-se lendas, contos, mitos, história e curas que povoam o imaginário da região, os quais, paradoxalmente, (re) alimentam a Una-trindade que se inscreve no mito sebástico e opera como seu sustentáculo. Muitos questionamentos foram feitos, tudo para que se compreenda, quem seria o Rei Sabá da ponta do Castelo? Que relação teria com D. Sebastião e S. Sebastião? Qual a importância para a comunidade e por que é importante? Por que há um culto e devoção tão forte pelos moradores dessa região?
