With the production of this article, we intend to understand the problems and challenges that History teachers face when incorporating Environmental Education into their classes, because although they recognize the importance of teaching in line with this perspective, there are many challenges. This work also aims to understand what definitions History teachers have about nature and the environment within educational practice, whether they relate the contents of the program curriculum with the environmental theme, whether they problematize environmental modifications by relating them to local history, if there is any proposal in the pedagogical political plan of the school where they work and/or projects on the topic, in addition to understanding which disciplines are involved in these proposals. Therefore, it is important to know the educational discussions about the environmental perspective in the teaching of History in schools in Pirabas. O presente trabalho propõe fazer uma análise da Perpectiva Ambiental no Ensino de História de escolas do município de São João de Pirabas/PA, utilizando de questionários para entrevistar professores que atuam na área. Com a produção deste artigo, pretende-se compreender a problemática e os desafios que os professores de História encontram para inserir a Educação Ambiental em suas aulas, porque embora reconheçam a importância de trabalhar o ensino alinhado a esta perspectiva, são muitos os desafios. Este trabalho visa perceber também, quais definições os professores de História têm sobre a natureza e o meio ambiente dentro da prática educacional, se relacionam os conteúdos do currículo programático com o tema ambiental, se problematizam as modificações ambientais relacionando-as com a história local, se há alguma proposta no plano político pedagógico da escola em que atuam e/ou projetos sobre o tema, além de perceber quais disciplinas são envolvidas nessas propostas.
