This paper has as main objective to present the solution adopted to solve recurrent problems of failure in the status display "applied" or "not applied" in braking systems of hydraulic generators. It shows how it was possible to engage in the solution of this problem, current technologies in the field of industrial automation and sensors. It discusses the importance of a braking system in the safe operation of hydraulic generating units, showing its principal components and their operating principle. This paper also, as a literature review, provides a basic description of the elements introduced in the implementation of this solution, as in the case of industrial inductive sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and human-machine interfaces (HMI's). |
