Discuss this subject, and also seek to emphasize sovereignty, which is not yet widely used in studies, and security, which is currently one of the concerns of public and private bodies regarding food. We also understand that the theme of Sovereignty, Food and Nutritional Security is of great relevance in the educational field, including the term Food and Nutritional Education (EAN), which must be present in schools not only in theory but also in practice, as is highlighted in the laws and public policies of our country. In this sense, this course completion work aims to understand the terms in which Sovereignty, Food and Nutritional Security are present in public schools in the municipality of Santa Luzia do Pará, especially public elementary schools in the urban area. This is qualitative research, of the field research type. As a data collection source, we used a semi structured questionnaire that was answered in written form by the research participants, three directors, two deputy directors and a pedagogical coordinator. The bibliographical research that made up this Conclusion Paper made it possible to highlight that the topic is under constant theoretical debate around the world, including after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, what we sought in the theoretical framework was to highlight the importance of the topic. In constituting our theoretical framework, we observed that the term “Sovereignty” does not seem to be as studied and cited in articles and official documents that deal with the topic. This is also not known by the majority of interviewees, who highlighted their concern with a quality lunch to be served to students, but that there is no effective curricular work on the topic in classes for students. A Soberania, Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional é um tema bastante presente na sociedade, pois é um direito de cada ser humano de ter uma alimentação em quantidade e qualidade nutricional que atenda às necessidades do nosso corpo em todas as fases da vida. Discutir esse assunto, é também buscar dar ênfase na soberania que ainda não é tão utilizada em estudos e na segurança que hoje em dia é uma das preocupações de órgãos públicos e privados acerca da alimentação. Também compreendemos que o tema Soberania, Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional é de grande relevância no campo educacional, inclusive se faz presente pelo termo Educação Alimentar e Nutricional (EAN), que deve estar presente nas escolas não só na teoria como também na pratica, como está destacado nas Leis e politicas publicas do nosso país. Neste sentido este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem o objetivo de compreender em que termos a Soberania, Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional se faz presente em escolas públicas do município de Santa Luzia do Pará, em especial escolas públicas do ensino fundamental do sítio urbano. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa de campo. Utilizamos como fonte de coleta de dados um questionário semiestruturado que foi respondido de forma escrita pelas participantes da pesquisa, três diretoras, duas vice-diretoras e uma coordenadora pedagógica. A pesquisa bibliográfica que compôs este Trabalho de Conclusão permitiu evidenciar que o tema está em constante debate no âmbito teórico pelo mundo, inclusive após a pandemia de COVID-19. No entanto, o que buscamos no quadro teórico foi ressaltar a importância do tema. Na constituição do nosso quadro teórico, observamos que o termo ”Soberania” parece não ser tão estudado e citado nos artigos e documentos oficiais que tratam do tema.
