Whose objective was to encourage the use of Mathematical Games in the high school classroom, as a tool that assists in the learning of the contents of Financial Mathematics, offering the student the possibility of learning and with a different perspective from those presented in the classroom. Mathematical games stimulate reasoning and improve elements such as observation, concentration, analysis and attention, which are fundamental to the learning of Mathematics and contribute to the development of logical reasoning (ALMEIDA , 2020, p.85), thus providing students with a way to face and solve situations in a continuous and reflective process that can facilitate the learning of mathematics. As a result, we found that the students showed more interest in the content of Financial Mathematics and were able to contextualize the mathematical content with situations they experience in their daily lives. Este trabalho apresenta um relato de experiência tendo à aplicação de jogos matemáticos como estratégia para o ensino e aprendizagem da matemática no 3º ano do Ensino Médio, na Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Médio João Santos na cidade de Capanema-PA, no primeiro semestre de 2023. Cujo objetivo foi incentivar a utilização de Jogos Matemáticos em sala de aula do Ensino Médio, como uma ferramenta que auxilie na aprendizagem dos conteúdos de Matemática Financeira, ofertando ao aluno possibilidade de aprendizado e com perspectiva diferentes das apresentadas em sala de aula. Os jogos matemáticos estimulam o raciocínio e aprimoram elementos como observação, concentração, análise e atenção, que são fundamentais para o aprendizado de Matemática e contribuem para desenvolver o raciocínio lógico (ALMEIDA ,2020, p.85), proporcionando assim, aos alunos uma forma de enfrentar e resolver situações num processo contínuo e reflexivo que pode facilitar à aprendizagem da matemática.
