At school, play is a way to enable children a pleasurable, thought-provoking and programmed learning environment, with possibilities for learning various skills. Generally teachers concerned with traditional teaching forget that each child has his or her stage and need encouragement to achieve teaching and learning, end up leaving the games aside forgetting that they are important tools for learning. Games need not only be seen as recreational activities, but also as something that is part of the culture of children, their customs, allowing them to develop better in society, achieving success in their goals. In the research carried out with the teachers we can see that working with playfulness and with games is an encouragement both for the development of the children's intellect and for their relationship with the people around them that facilitates teaching and learning. The research about this work was subsidized by bibliographical research and field research, the field research through a questionnaire with open questions, which promotes the collection of data. This study intends to identify and then analyze, describing the reality found regarding the importance of games as a support for the 1st year of Elementary School. In the research carried out with the teachers it is noticed that the work with playfulness, the game is a promotion both for the development of the children's intellect and for the relationship with the people around, facilitating the teaching-learning process. In this perspective games become a facilitating subsidy in their pedagogical practices, when using the games he creates with his students, in the school environment a pleasant place that allows socialization. In this way, the teacher has a fundamental role because he makes the relation of knowledge through play and games. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar de que forma os jogos educativos contribui como um meio facilitador para o ensino da leitura e escrita dos alunos 1° ano do Ensino Fundamental. Na escola, o jogo é uma forma de possibilitar às crianças um meio de aprendizagem prazerosa, instigante e programado, com possibilidades de estimular várias competências. Geralmente professores preocupados com o ensino tradicional esquecem de que cada criança tem sua fase e precisa de incentivo para alcançar o ensino e aprendizagem, acabam por deixar os jogos de lado esquecendo-se que eles são ferramentas importantes. Os jogos não precisam só ser vistos como atividades recreativas, mas também como algo que faz parte da cultura das crianças, de seus costumes, permitindo que se desenvolvam melhor na sociedade, conseguindo alcançar êxito em seus objetivos. A investigação a cerca desse trabalho foi subsidiada por pesquisas bibliográficas e pesquisa de campo, a pesquisa de campo através de um questionário com perguntas abertas, que promove a obtenção de dados. Este estudo teve a intenção de identificar e em seguida analisar, descrevendo a realidade encontrada no que diz respeito à importância dos jogos como suporte para o 1º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Na pesquisa realizada com as professoras percebe- se que o trabalho com a ludicidade, o jogo é um fomento tanto para o desenvolvimento do intelecto das crianças quanto para a relação com as pessoas ao redor, facilitando o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Nesta perspectiva, os jogos se tornam um subsidio facilitador em práticas pedagógicas; ao recorrer aos jogos, cria com seus alunos, no ambiente escolar, um lugar agradável, que permite a socialização.
