The present work consists of a Systematic Literature Review. It aims to identify and catalog
the results and methodologies that were adopted in articles on Astronomy in High School,
published between the years 2013 and 2023. The search was carried out on the Google Scholar
platform, using the search terms “astronomy” and “high school”. As a selection criterion,
articles should contain the search terms explicitly in the title and/or abstract, be available in
Portuguese and be freely accessible. Considering the inclusion criteria, 25 articles were
selected. It was analyzed whether the selected articles were in accordance with what was
defined by secondary education regulations and guidelines based on official documents.
Applied research and questionnaires were the most adopted methodologies, followed by
educational projects applied in the classroom. All works corroborate the definitions
implemented in the PCNs, PCN+ and BNCC.
