It is clear that there is no room left for the classroom that used to be students, teachers, chalkboard, tables and chairs. The teacher, as agent of transmission of knowledge, and aiming at improving the teaching of History in the country, needs to be attentive to new alternatives to complement teaching. Technology is one of them. It is necessary that school and teacher recognize the great importance that technology has in our lives, after all, there is nothing that currently attracts the attention of children and young people more than technology. We are no longer in time to ignore or avoid using it in the classroom. It's there, everywhere, all the time. O trabalho intitulado “Ti, Ti, Ti na História: uma ferramenta midiática para o ensino de história”, trata da criação de uma página no Facebook , com objetivo de propor o estímulo à pesquisa e à construção do conhecimento histórico por meio virtual, atentando para as especificidades do trabalho do historiador, que nesse novo momento da busca pela construção do saber histórico, aproxima-se das novas tecnologias da informação e da comunicação como alternativa para motivar os alunos do ensino médio, da Escola Estadual Jorge Lopes Raposo, localizada no distrito de Icoaraci, na cidade de Belém-Pa, a se interessarem pelas aulas de história. Está mais do que evidente, que não há mais espaço para aquela sala de aula que antes se resumia a alunos, professores, quadro, mesas e cadeiras. O professor, na condição de agente de transmissão de conhecimento, e visando melhorar cada vez mais o ensino de História no país, precisa estar atento às novas alternativas de complementar o ensino. A tecnologia é uma delas. É necessário, que escola e professor reconheçam a grande importância que essa ferramenta tem em nossas vidas, afinal, não há nada, atualmente, que atraia mais a atenção de crianças e jovens do que a tecnologia. Já não estamos mais em tempo de ignorar ou evitar o uso dela em sala de aula.
