This "Course Conclusion Paper - TCC", entitled: "DANCE AS A PHENOMENON OF
WORSHIP TO GOD IN THE CHURCH OF THE QUADRANGULAR EVANGEL -
contributions to the training of a dance teacher". It was developed based on the
following research problem: "How did studies about Labam influence my
understanding of dance as a phenomenon of worship of God in the Foursquare
Gospel Church and in my training process as a future dance teacher?". The research
methodology followed a qualitative approach, phenomenological method and type of
research called "Case Study - Observational". To collect data, natural observation,
semi-structured interviews and photographic and video records were used. Data
analysis was carried out based on Bardin's concept of content analysis. The Work is
organized into three chapters: "Section I - Dance as a Phenomenon of Worship of
God"; " Section 2 - Dance as a Phenomenon of Worship in the Foursquare Gospel
Church"; " Section 3 - Teaching in Dance and the Meeting with Laban - a lens to
understand the dance practiced in the 'Grupo Renascer'". From its content and
inferences, it is expected that for teachers who have the opportunity to work with
dance within evangelical churches, it is hoped that this study can in some way
contribute to the understanding that it is possible to worship God while dancing and
that a dance as worship of God is possible. |
